User testing with real people isn’t just a step in launching Fableit, it’s been core to shaping a product that truly reflects how audiences experience and share stories in real time.
Welcome to Fableit, the connected storytelling platform that empowers brands, organisations, and communities to capture real-time stories through the eyes of those who were actually there.
Rather than polished promos or filtered social feeds, Fableit delivers raw, authentic moments your audience sees, feels, and shares. It’s storytelling reimagined — curated from the crowd, not the control room.
As part of building Fableit, the GoodShip* team is developing proprietary IP and integrating AI to power this unfiltered, audience-led storytelling experience.
Over the past few months, we’ve been putting Fableit to the test across a series of exciting, high-energy events. Each one helped us validate different aspects of the product from user engagement to image quality to moderation tools. Here’s what we learned from our most recent field tests:
Working with Port Vale Football Club, we explored how football clubs can use Fableit to tap into their fans’ point of view. From matchday rituals to the roar of the stands, supporters shared images that told a deeper story than any matchday photographer could. It was the fans’ perspective - raw, emotional, and deeply connected.
Takeaway: Sports teams can unlock a goldmine of authentic content by simply inviting their fans to contribute. Fableit helps clubs connect more meaningfully, and capture moments they’d otherwise miss.
At Liverpool’s Fuck Up Night, Fableit was used to gather attendee reactions, behind-the-scenes moments, and speaker highlights — all from the audience’s perspective. This event, centred on honesty and real talk, was a perfect match for Fableit’s unfiltered style.
Takeaway: Fableit doesn’t just work for big, loud events - it thrives in intimate, purpose-driven spaces too. It brings community stories together into one visual narrative that reflects the spirit of the moment.
When the city turned red for the LFC Victory Parade, we saw thousands of fans take to the streets to celebrate. Fableit captured the pride, passion and pure joy from the ground level, moments you don’t see on official feeds.
Takeaway: In large-scale public events, Fableit offers a decentralised way to document what’s happening across the crowd. It adds depth to traditional media and turns the crowd into storytellers.
From glitter-covered festivalgoers to backstage glimpses, Fableit brought the weekend’s energy to life. We used content challenges and prompts to guide users, helping them capture the images that matter most to event organisers and sponsors.
Takeaway: With smart prompts and moderation tools, organisers can guide content creation without taking away the fun. Fableit becomes part of the experience, not just a tool in the background.
Fableit is more than an app, it’s a new way to co-create stories with your audience. Whether it's a stadium packed with fans, a room full of changemakers, or a field buzzing with festival vibes, the platform has proven its ability to scale, adapt, and deliver meaningful content.
We’re currently looking to connect with professional sports clubs and event organisers to help shape the future of Fableit. Your insights will support the continued development of the platform as we refine its features and define a strong product-market fit.
